Con motivo de cumplir éste Blog, The Secret Corner Of Doktor Gnomegang, el segundo año de publicación, tengo el placer de presentaros el lanzamiento de mi octavo álbum musical, The Gathering Of The Magical Roosters (El Encuentro-La Asamblea-La Reunión de los Gallos Mágicos, como gustéis). El cual os ofrezco en este sitio como un regalo a todos los que apreciais y gustais compartir libremente la buena música.

En este trabajo, para mí muy ecléctico, he experimentado con diversos géneros y estilos musicales, presentando una secuencia de temas que he venido elaborando en los últimos años.

Técnicamente, a partir del sexto álbum he reunido un arsenal de instrumentos virtuales, sintetizadores, secuenciadores, VSTs, FXs y nuevos samples, a cuyo conjunto he denominado Ogamov III. Casi todo está hecho, como siempre, nota a nota, reduciendo al mínimo el uso de samples.

Deseo expresar mi profundo agradecimiento a mi gurú musical, el cybercompositor venezolano Alvarez por sus expertos consejos y asesoría, pero principalmente por su especial colaboración en el tema
El Gnomo, al cual tuvo la gentileza de poner su voz, la primera voz real en un album mío. Dicha acción tiene el valor agregado de demostrar la posibilidad de una firme y positiva colaboración entre compositores a travez de Internet, aún sin conocerse personalmente ni haberse visto nunca.

También deseo agradecer a todos aquellos que me han seguido durante estos dos años, a aquellos que toman de su tiempo para comentar, pero muy especialmente a los que en ningún momento han abandonado el seguimiento del blog, y ell@s saben que me refiero a ell@s.

Una mención especial de agradecimiento se merece el Blog griego Mutant Sounds, fuente generadora del mayor tráfico hasta este sitio, por mantener el enlace durante todo este tiempo .
(Nada tengo que decir a los que solo vienen a llevarse la música, la verdadera protagonista de este sitio, que nunca han dicho nada, ni las gracias, con sólo unas Muy pocas excepciones de Sudamerica y Europa).

Celebrating the VII Birthday Anniversary of our beloved and internationally famous artist and first vocalist of The Psychedelic Roosters Band, that is, Barlynez, the Psychedelic Rooster, I feel happy to republish the first musical production by PRB with his participation, now with the added value of a new cover and a very hot bonus song, Barlynez 2008, from my studio recording, The Rebel Rooster Records. I hope you may enjoy this song, which is, too, of course, my more recent musical work.

And may be this post a just tribute to who has bring us, to my family and me, so many moments of joy, loyalty and love.






Con motivo del reciente cumpleaños del muy querido, mimado e internacionalmente famoso artista y primer vocalista de la Psychedelic Roosters Band, esto es, Barlynez, El Gallo Psycodélico, me complace relanzar la primera producción musical en la que participó con la citada PRB, ahora con el valor añadido de una nueva carátula y un bonus track, Barlynez, Psychorooster 2008, bién caliente, acabado de salir de mi estudio de grabación, The Rebel Rooster Records. Espero que puedan disfrutar de este último tema, el cual es también, dicho sea de paso, mi mas reciente sencillo musical.

Y que sea este un justo tributo a quien nos ha brindado a mi familia y a mi, tantos momentos de alegría, lealtad y amor.

Doktor Gnomegang - Electronic Flight (2007)

This is the CD 006 in the serie of my own musical cathalogue, and although it is dated by 2007, some songs were composed around 2005. I think it is a lighter work than previous albums, because here i am including single songs (resembling diverse styles) I had stored and some I did specially for this production laying aside the conceptual atmosphere, although the electronic flavor is present all around. Of course, I don't want to make a critic of my own work, I prefer to let the people are coming here to make comments themselves...

For this album, I made specially:

Six Minutes In Lemuria, a kind of reggae, (I think...), Cyberchenche, and the Intro of Sywapa's* Song, inspired on a traditional folkloric dance of Santo Domingo from sXIX, The Chenche Matriculate Dance, (as I do remember it), The Wanderer, and of course Electronic Flight, the main theme, and the whole cover too.

*Sywapa = Ciguapa

Hello People. This week, following the numeric sequence that are showing my cds, I come with a recopilatory album of my previous works. This is RRR-CD005 "Dr. Gnomegang & Rebel Rooster Records, Presents - Selections By... (2006)."

Be patient, I will post soon new music albums I have. Meanwhile, I follow working improving my musical capability and technical knowledge, and researching about rare sounds.

The PluX - Plucking The Gnome Gang (2005)

For my second CD, I did to create a new virtual band, and this was The PluX, with the mission of make covers of Ogam Gnomegang's songs, (so I did covers of my own works) and some new original songs for The Plux. The difference is Gnomegang's works are more electronic-synth oriented, and The Plux tends to show more plucking-based accoustic sounds. I hope you may enjoy it. I will be gratefull if you leave comments.

Para mi segundo CD, creé una nueva banda virtual, The PluX, con la misión de hacer versiones de los trabajos de Ogam Gnómegang, (esto es, versiones de mis propios trabajos), y uno que otro tema musical por The PluX. La diferencia entra ambos es que Ogam Gnómegang es más electrónico y orientado a los sintetizadores, mientras que The PluX se orienta más al sonido acústico de instrumentos tocados con plectro. Espero que lo disfruten y que dejen comentarios.
